
A sweet antique rose gold brooch from the late Victorian era. This brooch has a detailed swallow in mid flight to the centre with an engraved floral garland underneath on an intricate pierced out background. There is a '15CT' stamp on the reverse and the metal tests as 15ct gold.
Victorians loved symbolism in their jewellery and the swallow bird was given to loved ones to keep them safe on long journeys.
