An antique memorial brooch in gold, the centre has plaited hair under the glass surrounded by detailed engraved foliate floral design and a further outline of black enamel. On the reverse is an engraved dedication 'Tho Williamson, Obt 29 Nov 1830, at 55' behind the pin and 'C' scroll clasp fitting. There are no markings but the metal tests as 9ct gold. On the edge of clasp near hinge of clasp there is a little damage to enamel which can only be seen under very close inspection, please see photos.
