The most darling Edwardian bar brooch! The heart has a faceted red spinel surrounded by six rose and old cut diamonds all set inside a star shape setting. Either side of the heart is delicate scrolls and wire work. On the reverse is a 9ct gold Birmingham hallmark with the date letter i for 1908, a pin and C scroll brooch fitting and a loop for a safety chain if desired. In all a beautiful keepsake.
