A vintage statement gem set ring with a central cabochon star sapphire flanked by carved coral to a diamond border all in 14ct gold. The oval cabochon cut blue sapphire displays asterism and is estimated to weigh 4.85 carats and the round brilliant cut diamonds an estimated to weigh a further total of 0.35ct. There is a partial '14K' stamp and a full '585' stamp plus the metal tests as 14ct gold.
